Review of Craven A by costumier on Sun, 17 Sep 2006, updated Sun, 17 Sep 2006:

Craven A used to be an awesome little cafe when it first opened, and although it's not quite as good now it has changed hands it's still my first choice for coffee close to AUT or the Art History block of Ak Uni. They offer discount to students and all coffees come double shots as standard. They are a little shaky on their milk temp and froth texture, but do turn out a drinkable beverage every time. The guy barista is the duty manager I think, and he's always really friendly; the girls are sometimes friendly, sometimes frazzled. Good selection of magazines at the shared table. Three outside tables. Not a cafe you'd make a special trip to, but a solid dependable place for a caffeine hit.
