Review in Waikato Times:

It's really nice to see the emergence of some top little cafes in smaller towns. A good example is Pause Cafe in Putaruru, which places a great deal of emphasis on quality food produced on site and flavoursome coffee. This, combined with the friendly, laid-back approach to small-town hospitality, is providing a winning formula around the Waikato. Pause is a spacious cafe situated in Putaruru's main street and it serves a flat white with real substance. Velvety crema gives way to flavoursome coffee. It is definitely one worth pausing for.
