staff.... really frindly, maybe to much! No seriously they where great, Coffee..... reasonable, pity it wasnt local, but was well made. I love open kitchens and atmosphere, a mate who was with me is a tonka freak so he loved it. A little suit like for some peeps but open your eyes your in the CBD well chch styles anyway!

Have been here for coffee 3 times and none of them measured up. On my first visit, I asked the barista what beans she was using and she had to go and find a bag to check. However, some of my workmates have had good experiences there - could be the luck of he draw.

Hell, I don't know how you can say that about a latte from Joes, this place really does serve consistantly some of the best coffee in Chch. I have been there about 2 dozen times and every flat white has been perfect. They remember my order and last time I got busy talking and the nice barista just made it and brought it over.
Food is simple yet kind of addictive, atmosphere is way cooler than any other cafe in Chch, and staff rock.
Sounds too good- check it out for yourself.
They use Ozone coffee which is amazing and roasted by a great wee company in New Plymouth. Proud to be N.Z!!! don't let me see you at Starbucks ever again. M

I take clients to alot of cafes for meetings and Joes garage in chch would have to be by far the best cafe ive been to the service was five star the music was great and the food and coffee
is the same every time which is impeccable.Its a pitty other NZ cafes dont take a leaf out of the Joes standard in hospitality

twice I've been there. the first time I ordered a hot chocolate and they gave me a chai latte.
the second time i had a latte and it was repulsive. i swear

The long blacks are not the best, I like the location so I hope they improve.
