Indoor and sidewalk tables, friendly staff and fast service. Coffee is consistently hot and always tastes the same.
Has to be the best coffee shop in Wanganui

Review of The Coffee Club by vicious on Sun, 20 Sep 2009:

Open minded but aware of this being a chain coffee shop I joined our party of 25 booked for brunch. On the particular day (fathers day) they also had a party of 20 booked at the same time plus any other walk in customers.
Waiting staff were great, coffee's were ordered although they did not offer a bowl Latte' they arrived pretty fast, but a little on the cool side and tasted a little watery. We ordered our small and pricey brunch, for which we waited 50 minutes as they only appeared to have 3 kitchen staff on that day.

If it wasn't for it being a family gathering I would have walked out.... will not be going to a coffee club anywhere again.

Friendly staff with a passion for coffee (advertisements for in-house intro to coffee origins etc classes on wall)
Clean tidy cafe, great service in a fast friendly manner, coffee was very hot and tasted great, price is on par. Fair trade a very nice tough with many fair trade products avaliable for sale too.

mid day on friday, good crowd meaning some delay as to be expected, under 5 mins to order and about 15 mins all up from the time I ordered to recieving my take away coffee, price was on par and food looked great. The guy making the coffee seemed a little slow and was serving the coffee to the tables too. Atmosphere was busy, the whole set up seemed a little slap bang and not that well set up for a place that has been established for some time, and noted rubbish on the floor behind the counter which seemed as if the place doesn't take that much pride in what they do. All in all not a bad brew.

Nice atmosphere, clean and tidy cafe with tables out front and a couch near the back for those who want a nice casual coffee, good range of size coffee's from a regular right thru to a super large (not avaliable take away) which is HUGE, good to see. Coffee was hot and a latte' was a latte'. price was fair and the chocolate caramel slice was excellent. top marks, will have to return again for that alone

Review of Eden Cafe by vicious on Mon, 15 Feb 2010:

A real gem of a coffee shop located in the most unlikley of places (opposite The Warehouse on Devon Rd in Bell Block). One of the best coffee's I have had.
Arrived hot in a fast time, smooth flavour well made, this is a must stop cafe, and i will certainly make a point of returning in the future.
Food is great, courtyard garden at rear and a couple of dining areas it is a great spot for a quiet coffee or a catch up in a relaxed atmosphere

Review of The Yellow House by vicious on Sun, 24 Oct 2010:

Friendly service and nice atmosphere, coffee arrived in a timley manner although not hot on his occasion. Nice blend and a well made latte. At the higher end of the price scale in wanganui for a large coffee (but don't do a bowl)

Review of Zest by vicious on Fri, 28 Oct 2011:

Pretty nice cafe with a classy feel in a great location in Greerton.
On the day I visited the service was a little slow even though they were not busy, although the assistant did apologise for this the service didn't really feel as friendly and welcoming as I have come to expect. My latte' was served in a reasonable time after ordering and the temperature was good but the taste was quite bitter.
